The Halcro Street Community Centre houses the Seniors in Focus Project & the Halcro Street Community Garden along with
Home Assist Secure (Regional Housing) and the Fraser Coast Community Radio FM 107.5
We are located at 30 Halcro Street on the border of Pialba and Pt Vernon.
The Community Centre plays host to a range of activities and groups run by volunteers. It houses the Seniors in Focus Project and the Halcro Street Community Garden.
It is also a community resource for personal assistance,
information and offers a community library of books, CD's and DVD's

Jigsaw Library
Halcro Street Community Centre has a lending library available for people to access and includes books, DVDs and CDS. The library can be accessed in normal operating hours for the centre which is 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday.

Point Vernon Neighbourhood Watch 3 Meeting - Bi-Monthly
10am on the first Tuesday of the month
The "Chatty Crafters" social group meets weekly on a Tuesday morning between the hours of 9am - 11am excluding the first Tuesday of the month.
They bring together their knowledge and skill to share with each other whilst meeting and making friends.
If you are wanting to learn or wanting to share you are welcomed with open arms. All skill levels welcome

Dementia Alliance - 2pm (Monthly - 1st Wednesday)
Come along and join in rain, hail or shine. Our walking group walks inside in complete air conditioned comfort with regular breaks.
Suitable for any age or fitness levels you can do as much or as little as you like. $1.00 per session inc. tea, coffee, socialising, fun and laughter.

Every Thursday between 10am and 12noon the Halcro Street Community Centre plays host to a group of high spirited over 50's for games, activities, guest speakers, outings, special events and of course coffee & chatting.
