The Rolling Bones Players

Seniors Drama Group


 

The Rolling Bones Players are a social drama group who have put together one off shows for the local community and  raised funds for local charities.  All participants are volunteers: writers, directors, producers, props & stage hands, sound & light operators.  The group meets on a Friday afternoon at the Halcro Street Community Centre between 1 & 3pm  Membership and participation is free and no performing experience is required.

In past years the group have created stage productions, radio shows and
a feature length movie.  The group is now producing a TV Shows that
they upload to YouTube.  Their current production is a show about Safe Relationships for the other 50's and they use their incredible sense of humour to share some very important messages.  Keep following to find out more details of when this show will be available.

Spotlight

2021 saw the drama Group appear in a state government project highlighting a number of programs and individuals across the State that depict Seniors enjoying and taking full advantage of life.  The documentary was screened in the middle of the pandemic and is a part of the B.Old Short Film Series.
