THE SCOOTER/WHEELCHAIR CONVOY

The morning is a lot of fun with some people decorating themselves
and their vehicles in hope of winning a prize.
2020 was cancelled due to restrictions in place for the Corona Virus and would have been13 years of Celebration l

Normally the convoy is our biggest event to promote safe use of these motorised mobility vehicles and is organised by The Hervey Bay Safe Scooter Committee.
Activities commence at Scarness Park where riders gather to register from 8 am on a Saturday morning. They then follow the esplande path down to the All Abilities playground in a convoy then return to Scarness for a victory celebration, official speeches, entertainment and food / beverages.
The convoy can be themed but encourages riders to decorate themselves and their scooters. Groups are also encouraged to particpate where prizes and trophies are on offer.
