Hervey Bay 

​Mobility Scooters are a resource to help people to stay mobile and independent.

But we need to ensure that scooter riders are safe in the use of these vehicles. 

Attending a Scooter Education session will assist you with this.
 

The committee organises a number of events throughout the year to
increase knowledge and awareness of the responsibilities that goes with using and owning
one of these vehicles. The main focus is “Safety” for the rider and the wider
population.  Education sessions are held throughout the year with the main
event being held in September in the form of the Scooter/Wheelchair convoy on the Hervey Bay foreshore.

Why not be brave and try our obstacle course to test your skills.
So either bring your own scooter or borrow one of the local retailers.
These sessions are useful for people who already have a scooter and
also for people thinking about buying one.
